Jumping Classes are split into three different height sections. Please enter the classes that are best suited for
the horse and rider combinations experience and skill level.
Hunter Division: An over all Championship will be given to the Horse and Rider combination with the
highest score in all three of the following classes.
Hunter Derby - Section A: Fences not to exceed 2’ Section B: Fences not to exceed 2’6” Section C: Fences
not exceed 3’ - Open to Horses/Ponies. Show in sand/grass, may be asked to jump in or out of ring(s),
dismount may be required on course. To be scored under the open numerical judging system. The top 12 will
return to jump a second round in reverse order of their scores. Scores will be combined from both rounds to
determine the winner. Second round judged on Hunter Handiness.
Hunt Team - Section A: Fences not to exceed 2’ Section B: Fences not to exceed 2’6” Section C: Fences not
exceed 3’ - Open to Horses/Ponies. Show in sand/grass, may be asked to jump in or out of ring(s). Hunt
Teams of two riders shown over a course in the ring one to follow the other at a safe ‘hunting’ distance. The
final fence to be jumped abreast. Judged on performance, suitability, manners, and uniformity.
Hunter Pairs - Judged on performance and unity. Shown at the walk and trot both directions of the ring.
Jumper Division: An over all Championship will be given to the Horse and Rider combination with the
highest score in all three of the following classes.
Gamblers Choice - Section A: Fences not to exceed 2’ Section B: Fences not to exceed 2’6” Section C:
Fences not exceed 3’ - Open to Horses/Ponies. Show in sand/grass, may be asked to jump in or out of ring(s).
In this top scoring class, each obstacle carries a point value of 5 - 100 according to its difficulty. Each
competitor has 50 seconds to accumulate a maximum number of points. Each obstacle may be jumped twice,
with the exception of the joker. Upon crossing the finish line, each competitor has 20 seconds to make one
attempt at the joker. If it is knocked down, 150 points will be deducted. Posted Jump Order
Knock-Down & Out - Section A: Fences not to exceed 2’6 by the 3rd round’ Section B: Fences not to exceed
3’ by the 3rd round Section C: Fences not exceed 3’6” by the 3rd round - Open to Horses/Ponies. Show in
sand ring over 4 - 6 jumps with 3 or less of the jumps being spreads not exceeding height of the fences. Class
will be run in a three round format. Fences will start below the exceed height and be raised as each round
progresses. Refusal, crossing your path or knock down of a rail will result in elimination or faults of that round.
First two rounds not to be timed. Last round will be timed. Fastest clear round wins. Posted Jump Order
Six Bar - Section A: Fences not to exceed 2’6’ at the last fence Section B: Fences not to exceed 3’ at the last
fence Section C: Fences not exceed 3’6” at the last fence. Six fences will be lined up and jumped in a line
from smallest to biggest with roll-back type turns. The first fence below the maximum fence height and the last
fence not exceeding the maximum fence height. Class will be timed. Fastest clear round wins. Posted Jump
Order.
Dollar Bareback - Class open to anyone. Shown at the walk and trot. Entry fee is $10 with two dollars given
back to the rider to be placed at the managements discretion under the riders leg between the horse. Once
the class starts you are not allowed to touch the dollars. If you touch or loose both dollars you are eliminated
from the class. Winner of the class will receive all the dollars that were dropped in the class. Bonus: If the
winner manages to keep both dollars the show will double the prize money.
Grand Champion Will Be Awarded To The Highest Placing Rider
That Entered And Showed In Both Hunter And Jumper Divisions.
